Here I am again not writing for a day. I leave Sat for Chicago and will be gone a week. I don't know that I will have time to write while I am there because I will be preparing for NANO. I have laptop that isn't very good but I hope it will work to at least post my daily writing. I prepared a 3 ring binder with all my Nano challenge prep work. I will have my Kindle Fire (not that it will do any good as I don't know if I can write on it but it will be there for comfort.

Tonight my parents will be coming in from the coast (2 hrs away) to stay at my house and take care of our dog. I do not trust my son Doug to make sure he is home to let her out, make sure she is fed and to play with her. It will be bad enough that both Paul and I are going to be gone fairly often these next two months so having my Mom and Dad come in will be reassuring to me that she is being loved and cared for.

Grocery shopped last night for dinner tonight. Ham, potatoes, 2 bags grated cheese (8c. each) 2 cans cr mushroom soup and 2 cans cr chicken soup, 2 bags lettece one of spring greens and another of a chopped asian salad I had bought previously that Paul liked. I added 2 paks of gum (buy 1 get 1 free) for the trip. It all came to about $28.00 which I thought was pretty good. The ham was $14.00 alone.

The Nano is coming!!!!!! I think I am ready. I have even been thinking about re-outlining last years' book. I am sad to say that the whole thing changed and I am not as excited about it as I was. However, I get better response from the new synop than I did the original one. As a thriller is won't be as exciting as Vince Flynn or Brad Thor, but I think it is an interesting story line. Maybe it will fair better in the Religious section than the main stream market. Should cause some tongues to wag.

All for now.
