"Tell us about someone in your life, or someone else's life, who uses metaphors in an extreme manner. For example: An old Aunt used to always say "You're in the right church, but the wrong pew", if you were looking for something and were close to finding it.
Similar metaphor- "If it were a snake, it would have bit you." You're looking for something, and it's right there in front of you, or just behind something else. Normally said when looking for ketchup, or some such thing, in the fridge. I think mother got it from her father- I'm not sure.
