Stubborn Bullheaded Scottish-Irish Determination
Day 8: January 8, 2012 ~ 30-day Blog Challenge prompt is "What is your greatest strength? What is your biggest weakness? Write about each and why you think it’s a strength or weakness. How would you change either of these things, if you could?"

What is my greatest strength? Why?

My greatest strength is my stubborn bullheaded Scottish-Irish determination. I do not like to admit defeat. I do not like to think there is no solution to a problem. I am convinced that if I approach a difficulty or problem form the proper angle I will find a solution. I roadblock is an indication that I have to take a different approach to find a solution.

What is my biggest weakness? Why?

My biggest weakness is my stubborn bullheaded Scottish-Irish determination because sometimes it prevents me from backing off and taking a different approach. In order, to find a way around a roadblock one may have to backup or turn around to find a way around the roadblock. Once I focus on a destination or a solution, I do not want to turn around; instead I want to continue on my path, but sometimes it is not possible to take a direct route to one’s destination. At times, my stubbornness will prevent me from looking for an alternate route.
