What an invention that would be?

Prompt: July 6
If life had a "redo" or "rewind" button would you use? If so, what situation comes to mind? If not, why?

Oh, wouldn't that be great! I can think of many things I'd redo, but then all the things that have made me happy might not have happened. So, after thinking it over, the answer is "no". Many times it seems like others have a better life or are happier or things might have turned out better if only, but would I really change places with anyone? Absolutely not! Sometimes looking back I've thought I did all the wrong things, followed the wrong path, but then I think of all the things I would have missed out on if I had not followed the path I did. And that's what would be wrong with the "redo" button. It might redo, but it would change everything, and I'm not ready to go there.

So keep the "redo" button and I'll continue to muddle along, making a lot of mistakes along the way, but making a lot of right decisions to even things out. Monday night quarterbacking might be a pleasant thing once in a while, but living life and taking the bad with the good, makes the good even better...
