Day to day stuff....a memoir without order. |
DAY 2 PROMPT for the "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" Ponder the spectre of yourself as one human being in the over six billion people on Earth. We are so minute as to be nonexistent. And yet, we have the power to visualize, to imagine the entirety of the cosmos. The individual may be minute, but he is just as complex as the cosmos. Our hearts beat in perpetual motion, our cells are continually replenishing, and our brains remain a mystery. Our bodies are as much a paradox as the cosmos. We may be a tiny speck in the grand scheme of things, but understanding ourselves, our emotions, our chemistry, puts us on an equal plateau with unlocking the key to the universe. If we cannot understand ourselves, how can we imagine we will ever understand the cosmos. And even more mind-boggling...each of us is unique. until next time...c |
