Rachael bathed with the sisters. "Th-" Friederich held his words. He stood in awe of the radiance of the bathing women. "Yes. I know." Rachael answered. With a wave of her hand Friederich's uniform vanished. He stepped into the bath with them. "Paradise has returned." Rebbecca smiled and placed her hand upon his member. "I-think the microwave transporter has effected the planet's dimensional stability. We are on a different Earth." Friederich struggled to speak clearly as the sisters caressed him. Rachael washed his hair with scented oils. "I prayed for a miracle." she said and kissed the right side of his face. "But-is the lunar base still there?" Friederich answered. Rachael swam backwards to rest on the edge of the sauna tub. Her face was forked in thought. "I cannot perceive the lunar base." she said. "The Vatican clergy are with us." she added. "Yes. The transportation was successful. Many of the clergy are awaiting the orders of their Pope. "Let them celebrate this rapture in conjugal union.. We must be fruitful and multiply." she proclaimed a May Pole Day. All of the clergy danced naked under the many ribbons of the May Pole. There was a great orgy in Vatican Square. The tribe of Arius joined the celebration. They were accustomed to such festivals and brought kegs of beer. Friederich was concerned about the new land and set to reconnoiter in his shuttle. There was no trace of the tribe of Ethron. He could see game, but no other people. The radiation levels were gone. It was a new world. Friederich arched his shuttle into the sea. The ocean was similar, but there were deeper caverns. The shuttle could not travel to such depths. Something massive was moving below but too far to define. Friederich returned to base for a fresh charge from the fusion generator. The orgy had subsided. Many of the revelers lay on the ground naked and exhausted. Friederich found Rachael in her sanctuary reading the Bible. "Josue commanded the Sun to stand still" she said. She sat in a royal chair with a gold gilded frame and red upholstery. She wore the red Papal Vestment, but her nakedness was apparent underneath. "I believe we have found the Second Heaven." she spoke with deliberation. Friederich walked up to Rachael and took the letter opener from her regal desk and cut her thumb. "You are not a God." he said. She giggled and sucked her bleeding thumb. The wound healed instantly. "No. Not God. His Vicar." she smirked and winked at Friederich, kissing him with bloody lips. =+= |
