Bromance and cheese curds. Prompts on a dreary Iowa day.

It was a drippy dreary day outside of Des Moines today. Mandy and I had Mexican chili for supper and will soon go out for coffee.

I'm glad to have arrived. The bus trip wasn't bad... just long. I've already warned my friends in Kansas I'll be visiting.

Prompts:

"Bromance in B-sharp major", a story about two military men in love. My prompt... .

"Last Erection", a cadaver with a penile implant... One for Mandy as her sister who is a doctor had to work on a cadaver with one.

"Tea ceremony", about watching a hand-wrapped tea bloom in water... maybe from two perspectives, child and grandparent. it was fascinating to see amaranth-jasmine tea "bloom" today.

"3 square children a day", the fear perpetrated by certain Social-Conservatives that certain groups "eat children". Lies of course, and perhaps overstated, but listen to the screaming over Proposition H8 and you'll know where this could be going...

And finally, "using a guest as an excuse to indulge" We had cheese curds today, an indulgence that Mandy can justify because I'm visiting... What would you indulge in?
