On to Portland... Oregon
It was 44º in Seattle when we left.

A nice mild day with a glimpse of sunshine. I went to the market and later to Caffé D'arte where I bought a cuppa and was given a croissant for free.

Bless them.

My dear BIL gave me a ride into Seattle rather than Everett. Backfired. All the tickets were sold and I had to take the next bus out... which screws up my connections. Looks like I get to sleep on my cousin's floor. Then arrive a day late in Eureka.

But I'm blessed. Talked to a man who was rerouted to Wichita (caught a ride to Salina), Denver, Salt Lake, rerouted to Sacramento to Seattle, on his way to Ellensburg... Amtrak was sold out and the buses were not going west from St. Cloud MN and Boise was iffy, He left 4 days ago... 4! So... I am blessed.

Got to talk to Connie Startiara too while I was waiting. *Smile*
