Starting Over
I suppose starting over is never fun. I've cleared my port, leaving it completely blank. I didn't want to work on anything in there, though I really should be. I haven't written anything new in a year, and I haven't really worked on anything old in say four or five months. I guess I'm just not feeling it, even though I wish I was. I'm not even doing NaNo this year. For those of you who know me, that should give you an idea of where I'm at right now. *Smile* Anyway, my port is empty except for this blog. I'm hoping seeing it that way will inspire me to put something in it. I never could stand to see it anywhere near empty.

A while ago... I can't say for sure how long it's been, I wrote three different POV's for the first chapter of Born of Magic. One of those was the POV of one of the bad guys. I have been considering for several months writing something from his point of view just because it was so much fun, and an interesting read. I might drop that one chapter in my port later and see if I get any comments on it. Maybe if I could just convince myself to write something, anything, I'd get back in the groove.

For anyone who has been looking for me but couldn't find me: Sorry. Things got kind of bad around here. My husband's work went downhill and they cut his pay drastically. We might have been alright if I could have found a job to help out, but the state of the economy right where I live is horrible. A lot of businesses here depend on a GM plant that is going under, so the unemployment rate has sky rocketed. Anyway, one of the things we had to let go to make it through was the phone, hence, why you haven't seen me lurking in WDC corners in a while. Things are almost back to normal. My husband got most of his pay back, though he had to go to third shift to get it, which is okay. He's back to the vampire I married, and it is less work since they don't seem to care how much gets done in the middle of the night.

Well, that's the update! Maybe I'll see you all around soon.
