February 2007 Poetry Prompt
Prompt: Write a 3, 6, or 9 line poem about love. It can be rhymed or unrhymed.

Sweets for the Sweet

Chocolate kisses
wrapped in silver and candy
hearts in a red box.

Daisies Tell No Lies

“He loves me,
He loves me not.”
Echoed across the school playground and parking lot,
The daisies never told me a lie
And when they said he loved me,
I would always sigh.

NOTE: These were written in 2007 for a poetry prompt from UWW2 group.
