The Waiting Game

A blah kinda day

Sunshine. Ah, so nice a thing I tell ya. Too bad it was short lived. By the time I dragged my booty outside, the fun in the sun time was already going away. But - I intend to get out there earlier tomorrow since Danny just informed me he has a half day. Oh yeah, gotta love that.

Called around for an engine for the kids car. Damn, I swear for some reason I thought we could pick one up for a grand. But NNNNOOOO. It's $2,000. Ouch, so didn't want to spend that. And the junk yard I want to get it from, closed up shop and went home. Now where could that cheaper engine be? ~~T searches high and low, to no avail~~ Sigh. I might just do a google search for one. Eh, couldn't hurt.

Zak's driving is getting better everyday. I don't think I put my brake on more than twice today. It was easier when I watched the scenery go by instead of paying attention to his actual driving and trying to figure out what he would do. It's no wonder the gray's are coming back out. Seriously, hair dye should last longer than six weeks.

Query round four - rejected. I call 'uncle'. Seriously, my brain is mush and I just cannot come up with anything better, so I give. That is all she wrote.

Came across the only picture I have of my dad holding me. So strange to look at it. I am telling you if you see the picture, the man, he looks happy. We are not the only ones in said pic, it's a family photo op. I thought about pitching it, but won't. It's the only one I have of me with him as a child, so it's a keeper.

All in all it was a productive day.
