Willa forms plans to defeat evil Barridean's kingdom but things don't turn out as expected |
Fay Warrior, Fay Master Chapter Nine Willa lay upon the bed quite satisfied. She never thought it possible but he had pleased her immensely. It still could not match a hard, experienced cock but her body brooked no complaints at this time. She gazed through heavy lids watching him dress. He noted her quizzical look. “Now, my sweet, there is something we human males must do before night falls to ensure a warm cottage. I must go out and chop wood for the fire. Remember your promise to me. I expect for you to be here upon my return.” “I always keep my promises,” she replied. But in the next twenty four hours I may have to break that promise, she thought sadly. “Very well, then. I will not be long and will see you upon my return. Feel free to make yourself comfortable, LaLei.” Willa’s ears perked at the faerie name for Love but before she could question him, he had gone. This human proved quite the mystery. But mystery or not, he had called her LaLei. If she turned human, would he not be surprised when she returned to his side thus? For the moment, the sadness left her as she smiled humming to herself and flew to the cage. The endearment was shared quite openly between fully united couples. Barridean had tried to call her that and had acted most inappropriately…not to mention his inappropriate forced coupling. Once her mother heard of this, surely the agreement would be broken. She shook her head to rid her mind of him. Nothing of him belonged in this place. Quickly, she reached for a couple of black downy feathers and plucked a long strand of hair from her head. It was time to make herself something suitable to wear…at least until the change occurred. There remained one thing missing, though. There was nothing to sew with. She flew from the cage and began exploring the cottage in search of a bit of thistle that could serve as her needle. Even if she could manage to find a splinter, that would do. She flitted about much like an inquisitive hummingbird while searching high and low for something useful. The hearth held nothing but ashes and there was no wood pile to pick through. Then she spied a trunk in the far corner. The wood appeared finely hewed with intricate carvings of woodland creatures covering the surface. Most notable was the beautiful carving of an eagle in full flight. It did remind her of something she had seen before but she could not quite remember. This wood might do, she thought as she fluttered to it gleefully. She felt along the fine surface hoping for some small break in the texture. As she passed the keyhole, something shiny caught her eye from within. She moved back over to it curiously. With much uncertainty, she slowly placed her eye over the key hole but could not make out what had appeared so shiny through the darkness. She could, however, see something leaning in the corner. She ran her tiny hands along the wood feeling for a better hold and vantage point when her fingers fumbled across a prime splinter. “Ah, this will do just nicely,” she whispered and pushed away from the chest with the shiny object quickly forgotten. She flew back to the cage with her prize in hand and threaded a strand of hair through it. It did not take long for the garment’s completion and she shimmied into the feather vest and short feather gown. “I think this will do just fine,” she murmured to herself. “Indeed. You look quite stunning, my little bird.” Willa whirled around in fright as the cage door slammed shut and Barridean closed the latch. She flitted furiously about as several of his men landed upon the table to secure it. “Release me at once,” she commanded banging her tiny weight against the cage bars. “No, I think not. Perhaps when we have reached my kingdom and have reached an amicable agreement.” “Never! And your agreement with the Queen will be broken once she hears of your conduct!” she spat angrily lunging at the bars between them. Barridean did not budge but merely smiled at her fury. “I think not. Your mother and I are such dear friends…Now Willa, I believe I can find it in my heart to forgive you for disappearing but really, involving a human? That is a little extreme do you not believe so? Nice plan…to have him come to your rescue. I was quite surprised and impressed by that move. It was the move of a cunning Fay Warrior.” “I planned no such thing! The human had been watching me and I had not known,” she blurted angrily then clamped her mouth shut. “Interesting. Now why would a human be watching you and more interesting than that is how did he know what to look for? We are not exactly an easy lot to find…” “I do not care! Release me at once!” “I have no intention of doing so until you come to your senses. In fact, I may join you after we leave. There is still the matter of our union since we were so ummm rudely interrupted…,” he smiled suggestively, the corner of his mouth tilting. “You mean before the human unseated you wasting your seed upon the air,” she jabbed in sharp retort. “And you are not Master material!” Her wings vibrated furiously and ears flattened against her hair. She despised him with every fiber of her being. Barridean’s jaw muscles worked angrily as his fingers tightened upon the cage bars. “Be that as it may, where is your precious human now? And, LaLei, did you think he could Master you…a mere human?” “I do not care that he cannot Master and he will return any moment. I can assure you of this!” “Then I suggest we be on our way, warriors,” Barridean turned as he spoke to his cohorts. “Make ready to carry this cage. I believe I will be joining your future Queen for the trip.” The double meaning was not lost on her ears. Willa watched the confident grin spread across his face. She would wipe that smirk off now! “You are too late. I have already been seeded.” She tilted her chin in proud defiance. He was too late. She could feel the babe growing in her womb, even now. “Already seeded? I hardly believe that,” he guffawed as his men also erupted in laughter. But when he noted that her defiant stance had not faltered his mirth instantly ended. “Well, we will just see about that!” “Do not dare touch me,” she warned backing away from the entrance as his men unlatched it. He and two others entered as the cage once again was closed. Slowly, they approached her wary of her cunning as she zipped about the cage angrily. In one of her swoops, she scooped up the sharp splinter she had used to sew with. This could provide some sort of weapon. One of the men zipped up after her when she suddenly flipped over him burying the splinter like a small dagger into his side. He crashed to the cage floor moaning in pain. She flew down and quickly retrieved her weapon and shot back up fluttering chaotically. The fallen enemy was removed by some of the others and another Fay Warrior entered the cage. A knowing look passed between Barridean and his two men as they, too, shot about the cage in chaotic flight pattern. She flitted in and out amongst them acutely aware that as warriors of their kind, their tactics were meant to confuse and disarm. She thrust her weapon a few times finding its mark sending drops of blood flying about the cage floor and out onto the table. But no matter how many she wounded, there were others to fill in to battle. Her eyes widened as they now drew their own swords. “No! Sheath your weapons! I will not have her harmed!” ordered Barridean as he motioned furiously to his men. He could not have his most prized possession ruined nor could he afford the wrath of her mother should she be harmed. Now, there were at least three others in the cage with him shooting about in the chaotic flight pattern. Frantically, she eyed their moves as she continued to maneuver amongst them but it was futile. She had nowhere to escape. Then suddenly, a warrior appeared before her momentarily startling her to stillness. Instantly, Barridean and the other two grabbed her securing her tightly between them. The third one wrested the weapon from her hands and flung it from the cage. Willa bucked and struggled but unsuccessfully. Without further word, Barridean pushed her vest up and tugged her gown down low enough to examine her belly. He noted the tell-tale rosy ring encircling her womb. He then placed his hand upon her skin and felt a tiny but distinct movement. With a curse, he pulled his hand away. “Who dared to seed you knowing that I would make you mine?! I will have his faerie head for such treason!” Willa smiled with smug satisfaction even while she struggled to catch her breath. “You will not have his head for he is out of your reach, my dear Barridean. It is not any faerie that has fathered my child but a human man!” McKinzie S. Heart ~Live to write, write to live~ |
