"A Waters Family Thanksgiving Turkey Recipe"
             


            The Original Thanksgiving Waters Family Turkey Recipe


                        (Based Upon A 28 To 36 Pound Turkey)





  1)  (1) Freshly Slaughter TurkeyNeckline (Preferably within 24 Hrs.)


  2)  Remove Head (Preferably Within (1) Inch above 


  3)  Pluck All Feathers Complete


  4)  Clean with Soap and Water


  5)  Rinse Thoroughly Until "No" Soap Suds Are


      visible (This Is Very Important!!!!) 


  6)  Using A Hand Drill Or Sharp Instrument Perforate The Entire Turkey With


      A Minimum Of (52) Holes


  7)  To A Maximum Of (74) Holes Equally Spaced (Full Drill Depth)


  8)  Plug All Holes Using Dried Bread Crumbs ( Pack Each Hole Tightly With


      Crumb Substance)


  9)  Position Turkey On Table So Ass Is Downward


10)  Holding Turkey Firmly With One Hand, Slowly Pour In (2) Quarts Of


      Bourbon (Top Off At Neck)


11)  After Topping Is Complete, Insert Oversize Head Of Cabbage in Neck


      Opening (Must Be Leak Resistance For Bourbon Spill)


12)  Place Entire Bourbon Filled Turkey In A Large Roaster Pan (8 -10) Inches


      Deep                                                                                                    13)  Thoroughly Cover Turkey's Entire Body with Non-Processed Lard Oil


      (Apply With Brush)


14)  Sprinkle Entire Turkey With Light Coating Of Salt / Pepper / Nut-Meg /


      Sage / Onion Powder / Garlic


15)  Cover Complete Both Turkey And Roaster Pan With Aluminum Paper


16)  Pre-Heat Oven To 650 Deg. For (1) Hour


17)  Place Turkey In Oven For (6) Hours


18)  Every (15) Minutes Baste The Bird Thoroughly With Bourbon To Keep


      Moist


19)  After (6) Hours Remove Turkey From The Oven and Remove Aluminum Foil


20)  Baste (1) Last Time Thoroughly With (16) Oz. Of Remaining Bourbon


21)  Let Set For (1) Hour At Room Temperature


22)  Carve And Enjoy





                                Ingredients Required:





                            (1) 28 - 36 Pound Turkey


                            (1) Bar Soap (Any Brand)


                            (1) Hand Drill or Sharp Instrument


                            (1) Pound Of Dried Bread Crumbs>


                            (3) Quarts Bourbon (Any Brand)


                            (1) Oversize Head Of Cabbage


                            (1) Large Roaster Pan


                            (3) Pounds Of Non-Processed Lard Oil


                            (1/4) Cup Salt


                            (1/4) Cup Pepper


                            (1/4) Cup Nut-Meg


                            (1/4  Cup Sage


                            (1/4) Cup Onion Powder


                            (1/4) Cup Garlic   


                            (1)    Box O Aluminum Paper





Special Note:


Before sitting down for dinner it as advised that if you plan on eating any substantial amount of this Delicious Home Style Cooked Turkey that you plan not to Drive or Work around any Mechanical Type Machinery for Dizziness  / Vomiting or Loss of Memory may occur prior to or upon completion of your meal.
