Pride Really DOES Go Before the Fall
Read: Esther 3:5
Looking at Haman, we see a star example for the famous expression:
“Pride goes before the fall”.
Haman was enraged when someone dared not to bow down to him.
This pride led to him plotting against Jews in his jealousy
and pride, which led to his down fall. We are just like Haman.
When things don't go exactly the way we want them to, we get enraged
and jealous. God says we shouldn't act like that. When things don't go your
way ask God to help you have faith...He's doing what's right!
