Clash of the Storm
Today I posted another short story, "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window.. It is basically a followup piece to "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window.. I had originally intended for "Holding the Wall" to be a standalone story focusing more on Damiel's emotions as he comes to terms with his situation. I never really thought about who wins the battle in the end.

I had several reviewers ask questions about furthering the plot. So this is an attempt at that. I'm not as happy with it as I am with the first story. I like it enough and think it's a good story but maybe not as well-written as its predecessor? Perhaps that's because I hadn't planned on creating it.

Each story stands on its own without the other. I think this is important because I see them as two distinct phases in Damiel's existence.

So if you read one or both of them, enjoy! And tell me what you think because I am always looking for ways to improve.
