"Leaving Here is a Good Idea"

What look to the sun didn't you understand?
Its wafting odor reeks of "leaving here is a good idea" sentiments
and I can't go fast enough.
I can sit between four walls anywhere;
may as well be warm like the inside when I step out.
I'll stand with my chest puffed out proudly
atop a snowbank created by countless passes of plows
and scream at anyone willing to listen.
To which their reply will be,
"stop shouting man and get down. It's cold out here.
Let's go inside and get a beer,
and you can tell me about what it'll be like
to finally get out."
