Hello! It's definitely been a while!! :) Sorry 'bout that. It's been a good 9 months since I got married. Since then, we've been disappointed several times about getting a house seeing as the housing market is freaking expensive!! And yea, loads of foreclosures, so we've decided to wait it out on that one. We're going to save up some money for a down payment and the closing costs...So, yea.

I was out of a job for almost 2 months right after we got married. That was annoying! Ugh. I interviewed so many places and sent my resume out to everywhere I could. I finally got a job as a teller. I was super excited about that. I still am. I like my job. The pay is decent; the hours are great! So, I'm happy.

We recently celebrated Christmas - our first Christmas as a married couple. Yep. We had our own Christmas tree and everything here in our basement apartment. It was nice. I got Shane a few things he wanted and he got me some lovely jewelry. :) It was a good Christmas.

I really haven't had any complaints about our marriage so far and they say the first few years are the hardest. But so far, it hasn't been hard (knock on wood). Nothing seems that different. I mean, I really don't see im much more than I used to. We're fine on money and we're just good all around.

It's so nice to have something good to report instead of pain and heartache, even though that's probably what used to draw my "readers." Haha.
