Super salad
1 head cauliflower
1 head broccoli
1 c shredded cheese
crumbled bacon
½ c raisins
sunflower seeds
1 small can diced water chestnuts
other things to add if you want
green onions
green pepper
cashews
Sauce-(I make this the night before)
1 cup mayo
1 cup sour cream
1/3 cup sugar
Add sauce just before serving (as much or as little as you like)
I tried this..I left out the raisins and sunflower seeds because I don't care for them. I added green pepper and almond slices. It was very, VERY tasty. I'm thinking it would have also been good with fresh diced apple or pear. Next time, I'll do the cashews instead of the almonds. I put too many almonds in my recipe and ended up hiving because I ate too much salad and am allergic to almonds!!
