This way cool thing happened yesterday that I gotta tell ya'll about....

It started a couple months back. A lady that worked with me in my office, (prior to her recent retirement) has a son and daughter in law who are serving in the Army in Iraq. She gave me her son's address so I could write a letter of appreciation to him.

I got a letter back from him yesterday!! Now, it wasn't just the fact that I got a letter back, but the coolest thing was, he gave me the name and address of another buddy he has over there and asked if I'd write a letter to him too!!! How cool is that??

So, I wrote a letter to his friend, and said that if he knows of anyone else who could use a letter of encouragement from "home" to let me know and I'd be glad to write one to them. I love to send and receive handwritten letters, and I guess, ya'll know by now how I feel about writing...lol

I'm just so touched that he didn't want to keep all the "goody" for himself and wanted me to write his buddy too. That totally blows me away. How cool!!!
