I've been wondering...who's idea was it to start the holiday shopping push this freaking early?

I used to be real proud of myself when I had everything bought by the beginning of December. Now, I find I am running behind. I just started, getting the big presents for the kids...you know? But, I have 2 friends who are completely done with with X-mas shopping.

I don't get it.
