Crazy Life 'o mine

So what is new? I have decided that life is just too funny.

First of all it's been the wettest October in Nebraska's history. My roof can attest to that. So can my bedroom. The ceiling is ready to fall down. See, I rent from a slum lord. The roof neefs to be fixed, has needed it for a few years. Each time I bring it up....there's a song and dance about finances or it'll get fixed before the next rains or it's too wet to work on it now. I moved my bed to the office. So much for privacy...now my room upstairs next to the kids room.

Second, my lawn mower broke. All the rain and warm weather has been kind to the grass. Now the city wants to mow my lawn...for a price.. Sigh.

Then I learn the boss, whom I'm leaning toward calling "the boss" is all hands with a few of the employees. I really need to get out of there.

And to top it all off, I'm discovering that I have a new habit of forgetfuness. I just can't remember what I want to forget.

Life is a bowl of cherries...
