I Am Me
i am me

i can only be who i am
and i am me

if dad's death has taught me anything
it's that i'm a worthwhile person

don't ask me how
but somehow it just has

i am strong
i have lived through this

i have a future
my light will not grow dim

i am blair shannon's daughter
i am amy shannon's daughter

i am their shining star
i will make them proud

i'm daddy's peanut
i'm mommy's rudy

i am black
i am white

i'm a shannon
i'm a collins

i am brilliant

i am bright

i am beautiful

because i am their's

but most of all
i am me

and if that doesn't suit you
that's too bad.
