The End? Nah.
the end?  nah

is this the end
of my journey through grief
over the loss of dad?
no.  of course not.
grief is a journey
that never really ends.
i'll continue to hurt
and continue to heal
and continue to fume.
i'll look to the future
try to make the best of things
and laugh.
i'll never forget
forgive only the deserving
and never forget who i am.
i'll pray for the world
for the soul of my daddy
and for a happy life.
but most of all
i'll learn from this horrible time
and look back on it.
someday,
far from now
i'll be able to read this

and smile as i cry, and remember it all.
