Do You Know?

Don't you see what it is that you do to me?
Can't you try to be the only one to love me?
Who is there other than us that loves the day?
And where do we go from here this way?
Do you think that there is no escape from love?
Do you even want to try to escape love?
See that there are all things to live for,
And try to teach people all the things you can.
Everyday there is no way to know where to go,
There is no way to know where you'll end up.
Cats that don't dance and prance are not cats at all,
And humans that don't love and try are not alive.
Thinking about these things should help you to be,
The type of person that loves everybody.
Today there are new people to meet,
Tomorrow there will be old things to mourn.
But through it all there will always be,
A chance to see the world differently.
And we all should take advantage of this gift.
Life and love and friendship should never end.
Once someone can't love or forgive,
That person forgets how if feels to live.
