Bush: NO SHOW AT Ford's Funeral - A Public Shame

Bush cleared brush on his ranch in Texas rather than attend to the very public responsibility of attending a past President's funeral.

Personally, I find Bush's refusal to attend past President Ford's funeral Appauling and Selfish!

I think Bush and all of the Congressmen and Senators who failed to attend are cowards!!! Past President Ford's funeral came on the heals of Saddam Hussein's execution. I'm sure they feared that somehow there might be some kind of possible terrorist attack.

Remember the "Run for your lives!" announcement during Regan's funeral?

Yep... they're all cowards.

I'm surprised at Cheney's attendance really! As close to death as Cheney is though, given his heart problems, he's probably just as strangely accepting of his own approachng impending death as Saddam Hussein appeared to be to me.

But Bush's refusal to attend a State funeral for a past President is America's shame!!! The people that voted for President Bush need to be ashamed.

Bush has no excuses for his unstatesman like conduct. Bush is not even a decent human being. I am again reminded of how ashamed I am of George W. Bush as a man, as a politician, and as a President.
