SANTA’S ERRANDS Mom, how is it that Santa does Come only once a year? Every month I will love to be In his arms without fear. And when he comes, I would tell him, What he should bring next time. For each gift I would give him a Kiss and a nickel dime “But, son, don’t forget that he is So fat and he’s so old. Carrying all those loads of gifts Around the world is bold. Running around at Christmas time, He’s so much out of breath. For full six months after Christmas, He takes a nap in bed. And then for the next six months he Is so busy like hell, To collect gifts for the children, For the next Christmas spell!†* Written in abcb, 8-6-8-6 format. * Written for "Invalid Item" , Willy's Whimsical Words Contest, where the prompt was to write on “What Santa Claus Does Rest Of Year?†• REQUEST—While reviewing, please copy and paste the following in your review: This is a review for “entry:472904".
