Brawl at Mickey D's
I was running out for lunch today and one of my co-workers asked if I would mind picking her up something. I had no idea where I was going at that point, but agreed to bring her back a salad from where ever.

As I was driving I decided to get a turkey sandwich from Arby's since my belly was a little upset. Unfortunately she doesn't care for their salads, but McDonald's was on the way back so I figured I would run through their drive-thru.

As I pull in I see they are doing construction and their drive-thru is temporarily closed...UGH! I didn't want to drive anywhere else at that point, so I parked and went in. I know, I know, heaven forbid my big butt leave the car seat it was so comfortable in! *Laugh*

When I got to the area in front of the registers I noticed there were two cashiers, but only one line. They were calling for the next person from that one line. I fell in line behind a high school couple. As I stood there I was talking with a friend on my cell phone since the line was going rather slow. A few minutes later a woman came in and stood to the right of me, but behind just a tad. I didn't pay her any attention figuring she needed to be closer to read the board or there was someone/something blocking her from standing behind me. As we move up I notice slowly but surely she is right beside me and moving slightly ahead of me. The girl from the couple in front of me goes to the cashier that is practically in front of us, but slightly to the right. At this point the woman turns to me to ask if there are two lines. I explained to her there were two cashiers, but there was one line and they were calling whomever was next. The boy in front of me gets called to the register to my left. The girlfriend finishes and this woman proceeds to the register...right in front of me! What is that about?! I am still on the phone so I raise my voice and say, "would you believe this woman rudely just cut right in front of me...right after I explained the line to her?!" I was very annoyed!!! After she pays she turns to me and tells me there were two lines and that is why she was beside me. I raised my eyebrow and told her that just because she chose to create her own line that does not make it right...there was one line and she cut in front of me. She turned away and I returned to my phone conversation. They were asking who was talking like that and were shocked when I told them it was me. Then in my loud voice I stated that it was the area I was in...some people feel they are better than others.

I think/hope she got my point. Rude lady!!! *Laugh*
