More Lab Work
I finally went for my annual physical on October 20th. While I was in CA last week I received a voice mail from my doctor, which is never a good sign. They were letting me know that they were mailing me a perscription to go to a lab for additional blood work.

I finally received the perscription yesterday, but up until that point I was going through every possible reason why I needed extra blood taken. I know diabetes runs in the family and I knew that more than likely sometime in my life it would hit me, but not NOW! I'm not ready to give up my sweets! *Laugh*

The perscription says something in code...doctor language I suppose! *Smile* But it also said hyper glycemea. I'm hoping I was either just borderline or just a fluke and the next test will be fine. I HOPE!!!!

I called the lab and apparently I do not need an appointment and I found out it is just a one blood draw not a 5 hour blood draw. That's a good sign, right??? *Worry*
