Going to the garden in the evening helps Jasmine to reflect and count her blessings.... |
The sunset was beautiful this evening with purple and orange colors painted free-style on the sky, not having any real form like an ocean rolling to meet the beach. Jasmine was on her patio rocking in her glider contemplating the last 48 hours of events that occurred. When she was a troubled teenager she would go out in her backyard and sit on the ground leaning against the backside of the wellhouse or go into the garden to think and pray. It was quiet there and the scenery was breathtaking. Her mother had made a rose garden with red, pink, and white roses. The outer edges of the garden were rose bushes making a small wall around the garden. Within the garden were splotches of colored roses and a deacons bench to sit on with an arch at the entrance. Going outside soothed Jasmine and helped her put things into perspective, and to count her blessings. Jasmine had learned that her mother has Chronic Leukemia. She was just released from the hospital after receiving a blood transfussion due to her bones not producing blood because of the cancer. |
