HOW IS NICOTINE LIKE SEX?
I've have been pardoned for my sin of smoking. Who would pardon me? You'd never guess, so I'll tell you... I found my reprieve in an article by Harvard Health Publications, titled "Nicotine: It may have a good side"

Here's an insight into how my mind works, or tranlates what I read: My first thought after reading the first few paragraphs concerning the possible benefits of nicotine was: Ah HA... nicotine is like sex.

Yesss sirre... To my way of thinking nothing is more pleasurable than sex, okay... well chocolate runs a very close 2nd... and when a person can combine any kind of sex with chocolate... you get the picture?

Then of course, there are always those movie scenes that mock the obligatory cigarette after all the sex is done... there's a reason for that too... and it has nothing to do with addiction...

It seems to be human nature to seek pleasure... and most anything that is pleasurable we humans tend to indulge... and often over indulge... to our own detriment. Anybody think the aforementioned is News? If so, I can't help you! *Rolleyes*

I suspect the marauding non-smoking do-good crusaders are the same people who came up with terms like "Sex Addict"... and mirror their programs after AA... "our lives have become unmanageable" yadda yadda yadda...

Don't get me wrong. I think AA is a wonderful program. I know... I attended ALANON meetings for 7 years. (Yes, I wrote 7 instead of seven. Why? I write for a newspaper and according to AP Style 7 is correct where seven is not. We don't all follow the same rules... that is dictated by STYLE. HA!)

As a writer that smokes and as a smoking writer that has been tramatized by all the Non-smoking propaganda being used by marauding non-smoking freaks to get law makers, who are only trying to get votes by passing non-smoking legistlation, I'm developing a story where ONLY THE SMOKERS survive. In my story it seems a little good can come from a lot of bad - IT's SMOKE OR DIE. Yeah, go me. In my story, I'm killing off my nemisises... all the non-smoking marauding do-gooder freak crusaders.

And I just may add a lot of chocolate and sex... might as well.
