We Both Hate Monkeys and That's How We're Soulmates
Current Mood: eh.

Current Music: Rascal Flatts - Me and My Gang

It's been a good two months since I've even come to this site, let alone written anything. It's so weird too, because I used to sign on about 3 times a day just to see if anyone had read anything I'd written. Now that I've gotten older and have a [stupid] job and a fiance (with an apostrophe thing on the 'e'), I have a life. Writing just isn't my life anymore. And that's really sad to me. I used to love it. I used to live for it.

Speaking of Shane, we went shopping today - he put up a fight, but did end up buying some things (hooray for me!) - and I realized just why we are going to last. We have evolved together (not that I believe in monkey evolution or anything). We are becoming closer than ever before and I love that. I love that we seem to want the same things for our future. It's nice to feel comforted that I know he's not going to cheat on me, it's just not him. He's been through his mom's relationships enough to know that he doesn't want to treat someone like those men have treated her. He loves me for me - he doesn't care how thin I am (don't worry, I eat!), he doesn't care that I don't have double D cups, he doesn't care that I'm not rich or patient or UNselfish or a car lover. He's just matured faster than most guys do in that area.

It also doesn't hurt that he hates monkeys.
