Victory Shall Be Yours

Writing addictive, I suppose there are a lot worse things to be addicted to than writing. I think I may be addicted to writing, although from the amount of my blog entries lately I couldn’t prove that. It’s a good thing blogs aren’t animals or plants because if my blogs were they’d have starved or died of thirst. That’s probably why I can’t grow anything but weeds in my garden, everything else dies of thirst. I’m OK when it comes to cats, dogs or other animals, they let me know when they’re hungry or thirsty, but plants don’t stick their claws into my naked flesh or nibble at my toes. By the time I figure out there is something wrong, the plants dies either of thirst or over watering. Actually the only plant I’ve ever killed of over watering was a cactus. It’s better to under water cactus than over water them, and I don’t have to water plastic or artificial flowers at all, which is why I have no trouble growing artificial flowers.

However, I’m supposed to be responding to mood indigo’s entry rather than rambling on about why I can or can’t grow plants. There were several different words in said entry (I’ve always wanted to use those to words together) that intrigued me. Personally I liked the word exhibitionistic, that is a lovely six syllable word. If I add a word to it, I have one line in a haiku. Maybe exhibitionistic love, but then I have to figure two more lines to make the haiku complete. Every time I hear or write the word haiku, I want to say “Bless you.”

Well I’m back to writing bitter love poems. Actually, I never got away from it; I just never wrote one that was a haiku before. Now, what other words in that entry aroused my muse? I also liked multidimensional and hilarious. Hilariously multidimensional is eleven syllables, that could be one line in a Hendecasyllabic poem. The good thing about writing form poems is they let you focus on the words themselves. It not easier writing in a specific form rather than free verse, but it’s more focused.

I’m rambling again, oh well, as long as I don’t get lost I guess I’m OK. Maybe that’s why I haven’t been able to make any entries lately, Maybe if I rambled a little more, gave my muse more space to roam writers’ block would be less of a problem. If my muse roams far enough, she’ll walk right around the block or the wall. I sure hope my muse has a better sense of direction than I do, because if she doesn’t she’ll get lost.
