LET THE CINDER BURN
LET THE CINDER BURN

Let the cinder burn yet more,
Let wailing heart pine yet more.

In the stark, lonely darkness,
Let lonely spark shine yet more.

Don’t lament your fate. O rose,
Let the petals drop yet more.

Let the pricking of the thorn,
Bring out piercing cry yet more.

In the season of the fall,
Let all be barren once more.

At the time of departure,
Don’t beg me to stop once more.

Khalish let the heart be hurt,
Let in the dagger yet more.

The translation was done at personal request of a reviewer who sent the following review for it: “I actually read most of these, even if I cannot understand them. I would love to hear them spoken. I did not see any english translation here, but I would love to see just one translated to actually see it transform. Thank you for sharing this with everyone. They look absolutely beautiful to me”.
