The BEST Call-In Excuse

This morning Mark sends me an IM asking me to guess what excuse our friend/his co-worker Bradd used to miss work today. He is the type to call in and while talking through in a fake cough saying he is sick so he won't be in...like a teenager would do.

After a few guess' he came out and told me. Bradd called and said he wouldn't be coming to work today because he had no money, had been scrounging for food, and hadn't eaten so he didn't feel good.

WHAT??? Who says that? Hello, say you are taking a personal day and get your shit straight! Not to mention at the end of this month he is moving into a larger apartment, which will obviously cost more. Next he'll be calling in saying he has no clothes to wear because he couldn't afford to wash them!!
