late afternoon, 69 degrees. 45 in Monroe, WA.

Winter, or at least Autumn, should arrive Tuesday. Very odd to see squash blooming in November. The purple coneflowers are on their second cycle of bloom.

This evening begins the Bahá'í Holy Day, the Birth of Bahá'u'lláh.

noonish, 67 degrees. 36 in Missoula, MT.

Is it always this cold in Western Montana in November? It has been exceptionally warm here, but still ...

Depressed. Went to the coffeehouse and drank some dark roast Kenya. Barely was able to stay awake. But, I wrote three sketches. Probably not very good. I wasn't inspired. Still, that's how writing goes. I know the process and don't worry too much about the results.

More pieces of tooth just broke off. I'm not as well-made as I once thought I was!

SENSED YESTERDAY:

The sound of footsteps from the floor above rumbling like thunder; cheese; African tea; hot chocolate.
