Power of the guffaw
[ASR] Children learn alot from their parents, including laughter.

Power of the guffaw

♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦

He repeated every motion of hand,
every dance of legs,
each smile of wonderment
squeaked with joy.

He hadn't quite gotten down
the genious of the guffaw.

Not yet.

He knew his arms were meant for flight.
Eyes for learning. Nose for knowing
the smell of diapers
and his father's sweat.
His landscape quickly crossed by wobbles
growing firmer, faster (every day.)

Yet,

he still hadn't mastered the guffaw ...
This awesome weapon he would use someday
to disarm all with ears to bend,
and eyes to crinkle.

He laughed!

He would ... in time.
