It's Independance Day... Big Whoop
Our country is at war, and about to start another war(Oh, yes... with Iran), so how are we suppose to celebrate Independance Day, July 4th, 2005.

Obviously, our current politians are not students of history and allowed the current President to lead America into a war with Iraq, FOR WHAT?

Revenge over 9/11?
To spread democracy and liberty in the Middle East?
Oil?

At What Costs? How does America & Americans benefit?

How are any of us better off?

We have somehow allowed our American Government to betray us. Oh, yes we have. Our National Guard is everywhere but here. Our Ready Reserve is also deployed everywhere but here. And the fat cat carpet baggers in Washington wring their hands... and blame each other... Republicans and Democrats alike.

Our Veterans and Soldiers are not receiving the best medical care. Why?

It's insane... absolutely insane.

Oh, but somebody in our American Government keeps raising the servicemembers death benefits for soldiers killed in action... I consider this blood money and a bribe.

The news media is feeding on the shark attacks in Florida, instead of the Wars, political posturing in Washington, the National Debt, recent Supreme Court decisons whereby States can take private citizens homes for the benefit of private developers on the promise of more State tax revenue... and the News Media is wasting my time wondering, pondering, and questioning outloud on various programs just why it is that the general populace seems to have turned against them - duh?

Yet another No Good News Day...
