My upgrade ran out today at noon. While I was a bit sad about deleting my items yesterday night to prepare for the five items limit, I realized that I just wouldn't be able to live with myself if I begged for yet another upgrade from one of the fabulous, generous upgrade groups on the site - especially "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window.. They've already given me two amazing upgrades.

I've been upgraded for, hmmm, five months now. Wow. Time flew by so quickly. *Smile* Sadly, I've only been able to save up enough GPs to pay for one of those months' worth of upgrades. I received my first upgrade from "RAOK Upgrade Brigade GroupOpen in new Window., then W.T.G.H., then "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window., then my own GPs, and finally W.T.G.H. again. After these months of blissful upgraded-ness, I've decided to let things flow naturally and keep my free account state.

I've realized that I really can't afford paying for my own upgrade nor can I bear adding to my parents' monetary burdens - we live on my father's wages as a food server a.k.a waiter and with college heading up for me and my brother, it's time for saving, not paying. *Wink* I've also realized that it's really, really selfish and unfair for me to "live off" the donations of the kind upgrade groups. Thus, I have prepared myself to live happily in my free account state.

I'm going to prefer having no upgrades until I've reached college and have at least a part time job to pay my way. Then I'm gonna proudly click myself to the payment pages and buy my very own upgrade.

But til then, looking forward to relaxing about the site and reviewing every item I read. Somehow, now that the worries over saving up enough GPs for next month's upgrade are gone, I feel very . . . light and relaxed. Light and relaxed always makes a better reader, a better reviewer, and (hopefully) a better writer. *Wink*
