Given a chance to ask (insert deity of choice) one question it would be...

Camping? Are you kidding me?
CPI asked me if I wanted to go camping with him and about 30 of his closest friends up to Turquoise Lake over Memorial Day Holiday. Said that they'd be taking the Jeeps off-roading. There are some really great trails up there, but my Jeep is sick right now so I'm not sure if I would trust it to make it back home.

I'm sure MGK will be going. It wasn't that kind of invitation. More like...

Blahblahblah talk about the Jeeps and how he found a great deal on a winch blahblahblah...

"I'll get a chance to test it out when we go camping in a coupla weeks," CPI said.

"Oh?" I said

"Yeah me and ahunerd other people are going camping and, hey, you should come!" he said. "It'd be fun!"

"Uh... yeah, maybe I will. Let me know the details and I'll see."

I actually do have some great camping gear I have yet to try out, but my idea of a fun MemDay Weekend is not spending it winching my brokedown Jeep out from between boulders, and staying dirty and cold and drunk/stoned for 3 days with ahunerd other people I don't even know. I've only ever set the new tent up in the living room. In the last few years I have become real attached to the idea of indoor plumbing available everywhere I goes. Not so a few years ago, but, hey, things change and I need a stretch of porcelin countertop to take out my contacts every night. Also the daily showering is a big thing for me.

Now if it were just me and CPI then that would be worth considering...
