Tell and Show

When your try at erudition
sadly ends in just fruition

Show me how you write the words
Don't tell me how I'm so absurd

Show me what you mean, pray tell
Don't just sigh and say my poem doth smell

Articulate your criticism
Between words and deeds, you have a schism!

Won't you explain how the work is done?
But on you go, having just begun...

So lucky are we to gleen your knowledge
What a doctorate didn't teach us in college

You impart with the cruelty of thoughtless haste
Not a minute of caring on us do you waste!
