Believe in Miracles

When things have gone wrong
as they sometimes will do,
Or an obstacle pops into view,
You've go to believe
this is merely a stop,
And eventually you're bound
to come out on top.
So whatever you do,

For what may lie ahead of us,
nobody knows.

That was on a greeting card that I got while I was in Missouri. Ironically, Linda sent it to me. And I saw it today, and thought I would share it.

Things are halfway decent in my life right now. But you wouldn't have known it earlier today. Today was a day like I used to have in Missouri...when I was homesick for New York. And today was really really bad. I woke up, wanting to be as close as possible to Josh. The closest I could get was wearing his shirt, and stuff like that. Talking to him helped, but then I just wanted to have him here so I can hug him.

Today was the first time I ever showed up at Joey's house, hugged him, burst into tears, and then just left.

But I am somewhat better now....

I am looking very forward to my friends coming up here. I miss them sooooo much. I want my NY family and friends and my MO family and friends all together. Unfortuantly, that can't happen to the fullest extent. So, for the rest of my life, I am going to homesick for somewhere, and miss people I love. Isn't that something to look forward to?
