Day Twenty-Four

         I was quite satisfied with Malfoy's screams as we flew away, (as it lasted for I think, a whole two complete sentences!) when Kimoso's sudden dive scared the color from Kurama's golden eyes. The fox kitsune, one of the most powerful in Makai, was holding on to me as though I was his Saviour. Strictly speaking, I would not let any harm come to him. Six people would have had my head; Shiyou Ruyuki, Koenma (Kurama's boss), Celeste (Goddess of Death), Karma (Goddess of Fate), Yusuke Urameshi (head of the team under Koenma) and Hiei Jaganshi. There was no way I was going to let Celeste cook my goose for something minor!
         So I shouted over the noise and tried to comfort the poor fella. "Hey! Don't worry. He hasn't thrown anyone off," I said. And because I was feeling extra sadistic, I added, "Yet."
         I just so LOVE being a Shikigami Mistress!
