A chronicle of my life starting from June 21,
2002. |
January 14, 2003 Despite lack of sleep last night, today's been a pretty good day. I woke up, I went to school, I came home, I worked more on the video editing, I went to the praise team meeting, and now I'm home again. I just found out that the youth group is having another dance soon! This one will be more formal, with dressing up and such. It's also going to have an 80's theme. Hurrah! 80's rock love ballads will never die! I think it's going to be a lot of fun. There are various ideas going around about such things as dance cards and girls' choice and things like that to get the guys involved who don't do anything but stand around and talk. My youth pastor and I are really tight. We're like best friends. Every time he drops me off at home, we end up getting into long conversations about all sorts of things. Tonight, it was about a possible future for the praise team that really excites me. We imagined the praise team as it is now, and our band, Seventh Seal, would stay together for years to come. Even after we all graduate from college. Same people. Imagine how tight-knit we'd be, growing up and living life together, out doing God's work. Starting our own church or other ministry. Maybe even a travelling ministry. I would definitely enjoy that. I love them all so much...Spending life with my best friends would be the best I could ask for. Well, if it's God's will, anything can happen! Well, I've got some homework to get on to, a video to edit, and sleep to get. So I'll leave you with recommended listening: Rock You Like A Hurricane by the Scorpions. Enjoi! ~ Dris ~ |
