A chronicle of my life starting from June 21,
2002. |
January 9, 2003 Well, today I did a little work on the website. I remembered that I'd promise a finished website sometime in January. That was before I realized how little I'd do over Christmas break. I figured I'd have a lot more done at this point. But Christmas break was hardly productive at all. For some reason, I find it easier to work when half my day is eaten away by school. During the breaks, I just slack off a lot. Ah well, that's what they're for, right? Nope, not for the web developer who's fed rotten meat as he toils away in the headquarters basement. Anyways, much to the co-founder's relief, I've started doing work again. Even when everything is fully functional, there will be a LOT of polishing left to do. But if I work hard enough, I just might meet that end of January deadline. Or at least mid-February. That's my loserly life in a nutshell. Other than that, the Festiva I got broke down whilst my mom was driving it. She doesn't know what happened, but luckily we know a pretty good mechanic who's willing to take a look. Once it's fixed and I have my liscense and crap, it's home free for me, baby. Then I can, like, do stuff. You know, besides typing lines of PHP as the color drains from my face and my eyes become beady and overly-sensitive to sunlight. But in the meantime, I must continue my solitary rituals of computer science. Darn it all. I'll push away my woes with a little recommended listening, a little something from my favorite band: Song-X by East West. Now that is a groovy song. Adios, enjoi. ~ Dris ~ |
