While My iPod Gently Weeps
November 14, 2002

Well, today was a pretty normal day.
Except that a friend of mine killed my iPod.
For the uninformed, the iPod is the $300, totally
awesome MP3 player from Apple Computer. Mine has
nearly 700 CD-quality songs on it on any given day,
with plenty of storage to spare. Now the middle button
doesn't work, and the Hold switch acts like it's the
middle button.
Irritating to say the least. I'm not rich, and
neither is the kid who took it last night and returned it
broken to me today. I wish a rich kid broke it. Such is
my luck.
Well, nothing I can really do besides hope the
One Year Limited Warranty will cover it. Hope and
pray. Lemme tell ya, you don't know muzik until you've
had hundreds of songs under your thumb at once.
In the spirit of this entry's title, recommended
listening is: While My Guitar Gently Weeps by
Spine Shank. Thank you and goodnight.
