That Which I Desire
October 15, 2002

Strange...I was able to remember the date
without looking at a calendar.
Odd things aside, this is a pretty normal day.
But I suppose that statement could be made about
almost any day, thus it is pointless and lacking any
good meaning.
Yes, I'm rambling. See, I tend to do that when
there's nothing much else to do. I feel like carrying on
like an old drunk, so I shall.
School is such a boring place. When a person
is bored, they will inevitably do one of two things: Piss
and moan that they're bored, or try and entertain
themselves. The latter often leads to seemingly stupid
actions that may or may not get one in trouble with the
law, but in that one moment it's the most fun and
exhilerating thing in the world.
For example, in Computer App class, my friend
and I often purposely mispell the files we save. The
most obnoxious so far was "Laaashtionmignuggetar
Tuelf", meaning Lesson 12. Everyday, the first word
gets farther and farther from the actual word "Lesson".
Eventually, it won't even begin with an "L". My friend
decided to give the phrase a meaning. We came up
with this:

To ride a small pony.

Again, I stress the boredom which was
abundant at the time. We laughed, in fact, for about 5
straight minutes, just looking at the word and what it
was supposed to say.
Well, that was my rant for the day. Moving on.
Oh, an update on how the Corvette received my "I'm
Sorry" essay yesterday. I have no idea. We didn't
really talk all day. In fact, we didn't even make eye
contact much. She's obviously going through some
tough times, so it's probably best to let it lie. Plus, I'm
not being thrown into a fit of tears and melancholy, so
the height of my worries here are minimized to the fact
that I care about her, seeing as how she's my friend. So
I'll remain at peace until the whole thing blows over.
That rant went on longer than intended, but it's
too late now. Recommended listening for today:
Fuel by Metallica. Thank you, and goodnight.
