Bling Bling
October 6, 2002

Well, the homecoming dance sucked. Today
was alright, though.
The dance was a lot like a really long passing
period with weird lights and crappy muzik. All they
played was bling bling big bass muzik (nothin wrong
with bass, just in that context) with lyrics I couldn't
believe the school officials allowed the student body to
shout along to. Oh, and dancing that was like having
sex with clothes on while standing up. There are no
morals these days.
Today was alright. Me and a bunch of others
hung out with the Corvette, cuz today was her real
birthday. I also gave her her present today. It was a
CD I burned for her with a bunch of good songs. Of
course, I burn CDs for tons of people every month
about, so I added covers to the CD case to make it look
cool. Held together by Scotch tape, but that's okay.
She seemed to like it anyway.
We also played rugby at youth group. The "rug"
in rugby shows all over my bare, burned feet. And my
legs are bruised. I have no room to complain, as I
accidentally twisted my friend's ankle and knee at the
same time in a crazy tackle. He's one of my equals as
far as body mass, so I always wait for him to get the ball
and then unleash on him. Great phun for everyone.
Well, there's a summary of my weekend. Now,
recommended listening: Limelight by Rush.
They're all very skilled musicians, and the drummer is
one of my role models. Goodbye.
