The End of a Long Night
July 14, 2002

         Nothing really new has happened
lately, but adding to this journal has become a
habit, so I'll just rant. Yay.
         For circumstances beyond my control,
the closing side of concessions at the theater
I work at has had to clean the popcorn popper
when we close for the past two nights. If you
read my past entry about popcorn poppers,
you know this is not a cool thing. Tonight was
my turn to clean it.
         I met a new co-worker today. Yup,
those people who are always busy running
around me while I serve customers? I talked
to one of them. Her name is Tara. She's
pretty cool, it makes it much easier to stand
around bored without customers when there's
someone to talk to. I found out that she goes
to my friend's church and has pretty well all
the same beliefs as I do.
Now don't get any ideas. LoL, she
has a boyfriend AND a stalker, and she's a bit
older than me. She's just an alright person to
be working with at such an "exciting" job (I
hope the implied sarcasm is caught on the
last part of that sentence).
Well, now that I'm done droning on
about nothing in particular, it's time for
tonight's recommended listening: Fade to
Black
by Metallica. Very cool song
indeed. Goodbye.
