day by day
I can remember our first meeting, and how unimpressed I was, I can remember you coming to my door when all the lights were out and thinking "Now this could be interesting..." telling you to wait while I put on something decent, and coming to the door for you.
I just watched a tear rolling away down my face, just the memory of the beginning, how easy and simple it was, what a horrible nightmare it became.
You would come in, sit down, and everytime you looked like someone new, I never could really get a good picture of you in my head, so I would just look and look. We would talk, I would listen mostly, just to try to figure you out, just to get to know you, and it was all so casual.
So in the beginning, the memories are of late nights talking.
