Ode to a chew toy.

so not a real ode
the toy is real though
once upon a time it squeaked
now its major draw
is the way it hemorrhages stuffing
it bleeds cotton polyfill blend
gutted it lays awaiting unkind attention
no more eyes
it looked funny
no more ears
it did not listen anyway
no more mouth
it talked back too much

No! Don't throw it away!
